The Tobacco Barn at M-Squad Manor
Weathered wood. Open country surroundings. Easy accessibility. A little history and a lot of possibility.
The Tobacco Barn at M-Squad Manor is a weathered yet sturdy structure, a quiet anchor to the property’s history and to Southern Maryland’s long tradition of tobacco farming. Originally used in the growing and curing of tobacco, its characteristic open vertical siding allowed air to move through the barn as the crop dried.Â
Â
Today, the greyed wood remains part of its character, creating a textured setting for pictures, creative uses, and storytelling that still reflects the agricultural history of the land.

Still Taking Root
M-Squad Manor isn’t a finished destination—and that’s part of what makes it fun. We’re expanding gardens, improving spaces, renovating additional barns, and imagining what else we can offer. The process, the evolution, and the quiet growth are all part of the story we are building in real time.
